Vegan Chickpea Burgers

We know it can be hard to find meal ideas that are quick, easy, affordable and delicious. These chickpea burgers are all of the above and more. We’ve taken inspiration from various online recipes in order to create the perfect recipe for you. We hope you love it as much as we do!

 

Ingredients: (Serves 2)

  • 2 Tsp Cumin
  • 2 Tsp Cayenne Pepper/Chilli Powder
  • 2 Tsp Coriander
  • Pinch Salt and Pepper
  • Can of Drained Chickpeas
  • 2 Crushed Garlic Cloves
  • 50g Oats
  • Small White Onion

 

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C
  2. Dice the onion
  3. Blend all ingredients until combined
  4. Divide mixture in two and shape into burgers
  5. Heat a pan and add a tablespoon of oil (we recommend coconut oil or olive oil)
  6. Cook the burgers for 3 minutes on each side
  7. Once cooked, transfer the burgers to an oven tray
  8. Bake for approximately 12 minutes until cooked through
  9. Serve in a roll or with salad
