No Added Sugar Summer Drinks

Summer is about to come upon us and the weather is getting hotter. The heat brings wants for cold drinks but instead of spending all your money in Starbucks, why not make them yourself? Sit outside, put some music on, and make yourself a refreshing drink.

For each beverage, we have put the ingredients but not the measurements. This is because the amounts should be added by taste. We recommend serving all of these over ice.

Lemon Coconut Water

  • Pure Coconut Water
  • Lemon Juice
  • Berries/Lemon Slice

Pour the coconut water into a glass and add lemon juice (either from a bottle or the actual fruit). Serve over ice and place berries or a slice of lemon in the glass.

Iced Almond Cinnamon Latte

  • Coffee Granules
  • Almond Milk (sweetened or unsweetened is fine)
  • Cinnamon Powder

Put the coffee granules into the glass and pour the minimum amount of boiling water possible to dissolve them. Add ice to cool the coffee. Once cooled add the almond milk and mix. To finish, sprinkle cinnamon over the top.

Watermelon Juice

  • Watermelon
  • Strawberries/Raspberries

Use a blender to blend the watermelon. Serve over ice and top with berries.
