Movie Night Snacks

Often movie nights can ruin your healthy eating pattern with lots of processed and sugary foods. We love this quick and easy popcorn, and healthy chocolate biscuits to satisfy our craving without the junk. Team this pair with a blanket, hot water bottle, and Netflix (we recommend Gossip Girl), and you’re set for the perfect night in. Enjoy!



Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients: (Makes 12 Small)

  • 120g Oat Flour
  • 2 Tbsp Almond Butter
  • 2.5 Tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 2.5 Tbsp Honey
  • 3 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan)
  2. Melt the coconut oil, honey, and almond butter in a pan
  3. When it’s all heated together, mix into the dry ingredients
  4. Roll out and cut with cookie cutters
  5. Bake for 8-10 mins until golden brown
  6. Allow to cool without touching them


Easy Popcorn

Ingredients: (Serves 2 Large Portions/3 Small Portions)

  • 90ml (6 Tbsp) Popcorn Kernels
  • 1 Tsp Coconut Oil
  • Toppings (Salt/Drizzled Honey/Raw Cacao Nibs)


  1. Melt coconut oil in a pan
  2. Add kernels and stir until they begin to pop
  3. Add a lid and wait until there’s a three second gap between pops
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and when the popping has stopped, serve immediately
  5. Add your preferred topping(s)
