Chocolate Ganache Cake

We took Deliciously Ella‘s recipe for her Chocolate Ganache Cake and adapted it. This healthy cake is made from all natural ingredients and tastes amazing. The recipe makes a large cake which serves over 12 people. It’s rich yet you are left wanting more. We are addicted so save it for special occasions if you don’t want to be eating it all the time!

 

Ingredients: (Serves 12)

Cake

  • 3 Avocados
  • 14 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
  • 160g Oat Flour
  • 7 Tbsp Almond Butter
  • 12 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder

Icing

  • 8 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
  • 4 Tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 4Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup

 

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C degrees
  2. Combine all cake mix ingredients in a large bowl and blitz until smooth, making sure to get rid of any green lumps
  3. Put into a small lined cake tin and bake for 20 mins, until a skewer comes out clean
  4. Cool completely
  5. Mix all the icing ingredients in a small bowl and ice the cake
