Two Vegan Snacks

Picking up a piece of fruit instead of a chocolate bar when wanting a snack is difficult. We get that. So we’ve found our favourite sweet and our favourite savoury snacks that will make you want to choose them over unhealthy alternatives. Both of which are vegan and incredibly quick to make.

 

3-Ingredient Banana Bread Bars from Big Man’s World

Ingredients:

  •  2 Cups Rolled Oats
  •  1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
  •  3 Medium Bananas

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC
  2. Line a deep baking tray
  3. Mash the bananas in a bowl
  4. Add peanut butter and oats and stir
  5. Put the mixture in the tray and bake for 25 minutes until lightly browned and firm to touch

 

Carrot Crisps

Ingredients:

  • 2 Large Carrots
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Tsp Olive Oil

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC
  2. Line a large, shallow baking tray
  3. Peel and then thinly slice the carrots and place in a bowl
  4. Stir in olive oil
  5. Place the carrots on the tray and sprinkle salt and pepper on them
  6. Bake for 20 minutes
